A swing , and a bouncer ? Or is it one or the other

You only need one honestly. Look at all of the options and decide for yourself which would be better. Buying both is just a waste of money. Personally I like the swing a whole lot more, and that's the one my son liked more as well. If you have a couple of friends with one ask to borrow it and see which one your baby likes more and then buy that one.

I love both. We used our bouncer for small naps and hanging out and entertaining but the swing was amazing for when our little one was sick with a runny nose and needed to sleep propped up and needed the extra movement to stay asleep because she was sick.

I'm getting a bouncer that has a vibrating, rocking and light bouncing function..
Best of both - would love a swing instead but the price of some of them compared to bouncers made me find a compromise that I'm actually happier with!

My son is 6 months and will still take his naps in his swing it has been a life saver but we also have a bouncie he loves to be active and kick all the time and i can move it around and into the bathroom if i need to shower. Both are important to me!

It depends on your baby. Do you have friend who have babies? If so I would say when baby gets here see what they like and buy what they like. I bought a swing and a bouncer and my son hates swings, and someone gave me one that went in a different motion and he still hated it but he loves his bouncer.

Depends on what you want.  I like swings but if I get a bouncer I'll be fine.  Honestly my son enjoyed his swing more
