round ligament pain

Has anyone ever experienced round ligament pain? I'm having bad pain on or around my left ovary and it feels like a sharp menstrual cramp. I have been having the pain for the last 6 days.. seems like it gets worse at night. The on call OB at the hospital said that's probably what it is. I am almost at 4 weeks pregnant, I've had three bleed test done but not sure if my levels are high enough for them to see a baby in the uterus or tubes yet. So I'm kind of worried.
