Do you truly believe that nonviolent protests are efficient?

The civil rights movement proved to be an effective way of showing disagreements, disapproval, social injustice, cruelty, discrimination, and many more without putting a hand on someone. Moreover, those that did protest where violated against by the government it still showed how to do things peacefully, organized, and efficiently without violence. Something most ppl do to this day.

Salt march, Montgomery bus boycott, women's suffrage...yea they are pretty effective 🤷‍♀️
Also they get attention like the Black Lives Matter movement and the women's march

There's a difference between efficient and effective. I don't think that nonviolent is necessarily efficient, but it is effective.

But people who don't care, or are against the protest, will always look for ways to criticise.

All tactics have a rightful time and place to be applied! A successful revolutionary can't put down violence or non violence as 100% ineffective as that would be untrue. We must pull tactics from different categories depending on the struggle and the time. 💗

Depends. For the most part non violent protests are helpful as long as they are respectful, stay on message, and don't get out of control. I've participated in many non violent protests and it's a great feeling to be apart of a bigger cause and show that were in this together. However I think it becomes an issue where they become violent, as soon as you become violent or disrespectful you lose credibility and your message gets lots and some people now associate will associate your message with violence or hostility making it harder for you message to be heard, understood, and respected
