I'm Kealey. My boyfriend and I do crossfit. His parents own the gym so I got free classes. I fell in love with it a few months into the sport. I went from never ever exercising to feeling thirsty for a workout.
Working out gives me a "high". A really good rush. Crossfit intensifies it, because not only is it physically taxing, it is too mentally. For example: who goes into a workout being like I can do 100, 60 lb squats in 10 minutes AND THEN do 20 minutes of 9 thrusters (squat to overhead) and 6 bar over burpees going as fast as you can? I can't, even though I've been doing the sport for 2 years. So actually doing it feels so amazing
So I've started training for my second ever competition in crossfit. It's called the rockey mountain crusher (search it up if you'd like). It's basically a 5 km run (at a 200 metre Incline) and at every km you do a full workout.
I've been using couch-5k because I am not a runner. Sure I can throw 100 lbs over my head like nothing, but running is a whole different situation!
Week 1 Day 1:

Oh and here's some bonus pictures of my dog and I:
I was tired but gotta flex 💪🏻
Brought my child along with me, she's pretty tired too
I'm also sixteen by the way :) and have a possible hypothyroidism (getting tested soon). Either way I have a hard time losing weight even though I exercise 4-5 times a week
