Question

Do any of you have the IUD of have had it? Did you like it?

I had Mirena in twice back-to-back (10 yrs), LOVED it!! No PMS, no cramps, no period. It was heaven! Had it removed middle of April & my body didn't skip a beat. AF was right on schedule, O'd right on schedule. Hubby & I (both 34) TTC #1 & just received a faint bfp at now DPO 11!

I had the Paragard IUD for 3 years and loved it the first 2 years.  Then I suddenly I started feeling awful all the time.  Turns out I was anemic.  I never spotted before the IUD and did all the time with it.  The first day of my period was also extremely heavy but the rest was light.  I had it taken out and within about 2 weeks I felt normal again and never spotted either.

I had the mirena 5 yr before pregnancy and loved it. I have it again now. I had a couple days of spotting after insertion but it'll be like the first and I'll maybe have a 2/3 day period every few months. I love the iud

I had the copper IUD right after I gave birth to my son. Had it in for 8yrs (it was the 10yr one). I really liked it, it had no hormones & I didn't have any problems with it. My periods were still there which was fine with me. I know usually with the 5yr IUD your periods can disappear. Never gained weight while on it, my husband never really felt it. Overall it was great for me! Only reason I had it removed was because we were trying for #2. Currently pregnant and will be using it again after this baby.

I had an IUD twice, both times I loved it. I had no AF... however it did cause me to have a very hard time to lose weight. When I went to my Doc about not being able to lose the baby weight even tho I was eating right and working out. He tested my thyroid and that was fine. Then he told me he believes since my iud had hormones which are known to cause weight gain and hard losing weight that that was to issues. I had it taken out continued to do my regular thing and lost 25lbs.
