Trying to motivate her to walk... Any suggestions? She loves standing but gets so scared to move.

We did a ton of walking with him only holding one of mine or Daddy's fingers. It was fun for him and he was forced to do most of the balancing in his own, plus he was able to see that it isn't scary. Now he just walks like he's been doing it forever. And it only took about a week of hold out fingers and walking.

Get her a sit and stand walker! My daughter loves it and she started walking about a week ago!

Also update: she will now take a few steps to me. Apparently being gone three days in a row a week gets her motivated to walk toe and cling. I absolutely love it. I guess it's time to get her some decent shoes!

Mine was the same! She would stand and was very stable, but she practiced standing for a month before her first steps. I think it was a confidence thing, once she figured out that she could move she hasn't stopped. She took her first steps towards the iPad watching a video of herself, so you could try that ;)

Sorry I don't have any advice, tried to encourage my LO to walk after weeks of standing and not going anywhere. Gave up trying in the end and she did it all on her own! Now there's no stopping her!
