Night lights?

My daughter has slept with a very dim lamp since she was born. I'm thinking of getting her one of those plug in night lights for late night wakings plus I don't want to blind her with the light. Any suggestions for good ones? Or should I just ditch the night light?

Is this a yes or no to the night light? Or yes/no to ditching the nightlight? My vote would be to ditch it but I'm not sure how to vote because I don't know what you're asking.

We have an owl nightlight that projects stars on the ceiling as well. It also is a white noise machine and can also play lullabies. It has different settings for brightness and volume - we love it! I think it's Skip Hop or maybe Ingenuity? I can't remember, but we got it at Babies R Us, and I saw it today at Target.

I have a red light in the corner of the room so i can check on her before I go to bed or ou'd she wakes up on the overnight (rare). She knows when i turn it on that it's bedtime.
