Everyone has control over their actions... in my opinion. So, if my husband cheated on me than he obviously didn't love me or care about me. Cheating is a choice. It doesn't just happen. (Again my opinion)

my fiance cheated on me. now six months later, I still don't forgive him. he went out one night while I was pregnant, got shitfaced and screwed a girl that I wasn't comfortable with him being around because she's had a crush on him for years, (his sisters best friend) it was hard. I cried for most hours of the day the first month. nightmares about it. my advice, don't stay. I still don't deal with it well. it causes us a lot of problems. it's honestly not worth it

Yes I would forgive him. The Bible tells us to forgive. My trust with him would be broken. I think it can be rebuilt again slowly though.

Lost my trust. I'd need to go through a lot of self loving again.... it's very hard to come back from a cheating SO. I'm still a bit insecure from my first boyfriend who did that to me. Deep down inside you never forget.

I used to always say I'd leave & that's the end of it. But when it ACTUALLY happens to you. It's different. I used to catch my husband talking to other women all the time. We went to counseling but he didn't change. Finally I was fed up & some guy was giving me attention & I was feeding into it. I would do what he did- come home late, leave him with the baby, etc. he caught on to what I was doing & wanted to leave & we had a REALLY REALLY bad few months but at the end, we just can't live without each other. There are trust issues, but we've both changed for the better. Every situation is different, but I'm happy now that we both decided to stay & work on our marriage TOGETHER.

Nooooppe once a cheater always a cheater. My mother forgave my dad 5 times and he still cheated after that. cheating is a choice, if he wants to have sex with other people fine, but I'm out.

No way, I'd forgive him for my own peace of mind, but I wouldn't stay with him. I'd never trust him again and would probably make his life miserable with my doubts about our relationship. it's not worth it.

mine did in february, it's now july and i still struggle with everything that happened, but i did forgive him and i'm trying hard to move past it. every situation is different.

I don't believe I could forgive him. The time it takes to heal will be long, whether it's with him or by myself. I'd rather heal and then invest my faith with a clean slate. How can one forgive being around the person who completely disregarded them? A person doesn't deserve to live that turmoil.
