I went to the ER late Saturday  night with a lower abdominal pain. They did a CT scan and found a mass near my ovaries. So they sent me to a different emergency room so they could an ultrasound. They found a 10cm cyst on my ovary. It's just a fluid sack it isn't a tumor or anything like that. The nurse described it as a water balloon on my ovary. I go meet with an obgyn in a few days to figure out the best course. They gave me some medication for pain management and sent me home. Today I met with an OBGYN and we scheduled my surgery, which is June 6th.  I'm so scared!! I know I will feel better but I've never had surgery before and don't know the recovery time and all that. Please send some positive comments!!
