Women diagnosed with gestational diabetes: advice please 😊

Hi everyone. Today I took my 3 hour gluscose tolerance test and failed due to high 1 hour check. My fasting is low at 81. They gave me the 100g sugar drink.. that isn't normal for me at all. I even felt sick having to drink it. But the midwife said it's what they do to see the body's response. I have to check my glucose levels 4 times a day- fasting in the morning, 2 hours after breakfast. 2 hours after lunch, 2 hours after dinner. She didn't say anything about snacks in the evening and didn't think about it till now. I finished dinner at 6:30 checked glucose at 8:30 which was 92. But I usually snack small two times after dinner and before bed. I don't check my levels after this right? I just wait till the morning to see my fasted level?
