pedicures & massages while pregnant

So I went today to get a mommy massage because the fatigue and pain with my body changing is really getting to me. I constantly feel tired and very stressed and I have a cyst on my ovaries which is making me get this horrible pain in my lower stomach and down my leg I am 13 weeks pregnant. I called my doctor to ask if this way okay & he said it was perfectly safe but they wouldn't do it at the massage place said I could have a miscarriage if I had it done so I leaving when she told me I shouldn't get pedicures either that I could also have one which scared me but my doctor said it was all safe so i am so confused and sad because I was really looking forward to this massage
