lifted pelvic rest
Since 27 weeks I have been 2cm dilated & 60% effaced. They found out I have a short cervix and have been measuring between 7mm-1cm since.
I wasn't put on strict bed rest, but have had to take it a little bit easier and use progesterone suppositories.
I'm now 36 weeks and the doctor said I could go back to doing things normally and intercourse was fine.
My question is, has anyone gone back to having sex once the pelvic rest was lifted and did you go into labor quickly after? I'm concerned I'll go into labor after sex, and wasn't sure if we should use a condom or if that would even make a difference? The doctor just said I may have contractions but didn't seem too worried- is that because if my baby came at 36 they would be alright most likely?
