Car seat?

I'm due in 4 weeks, but the doctor thinks my LO will come early. I stillll haven't purchased a car seat 😓 which one are you guys buying & why?

Girl get on that! It's the one item you have to have for a newborn LOL I researched car seats for my entire pregnancy and we got the Nuna pipa (and the stroller it goes with...  I cannot recommend it enough, the Nuna Mixx). Not only is it one of the lightest car seats on the market, it's one of the few that has features that actually do add to safety ( rigid LATCH and and anti rebound leg). And it has this great built-in canopy. Another antastiq option and a really popular one is the Britax (but not the newer Elite version because people say it's way too narrow). You also want to measure your backseat because car seats vary in their overall size and it's completely possible to buy one that simply doesn't fit without your front seat pushed all the way forward.
Also, please go online and watch installation videos on YouTube by "the car seat lady. " Almost all car seats are installed incorrectly in she shows you how you have to literally sit on the seat and tighten straps. We thought we had ours in very securely until my husband watched that and we realized it could have been way way tighter. Also don't buy any accessories that aren't by the same brand as they are not crash tested with the seat

The Car Seat Lady has great information.

We chose a Cleck Fllo because it's extended rear facing and it fits well in my car. I think infant seats are a waste of money.

Correct installation is top priority. Every seat is required to pass the same safety standards. If it fits your child and your car it doesn't matter how much you spend.
