Would you quit your job when you find out you're pregnant?

Question

Would you quit your job if you had bad symptoms like nauseous and exhaustion?? Would you suck it up or just quit if your SO said it was ok ?

I feel like I would suck it up because I'll be bored at home for 9 months until the baby came. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I quit my job at 36 weeks. Not because I was sick I had a smooth, easy pregnancy. I quit because I was planning on it from jump so I could be a SAHM. I say if the money isn't an issue do what's right for you.

I quite and was looking for a new job when I found out I was pregnant. I ended up on bedrest the first two months of pregnancy. I've had terrible morning sickness the entire time. For me it all just worked out. I do miss working so I'll probably be on the search after baby is here. Financially I don't need to work. It's only if I want to have a fun job.

Nope. I love my job and it's pretty low key. I also would rather start my mat leave at the very end of my pregnancy. I get a year off, so I would like it as close to my due date as possible.

I was working two jobs when I found out.  I'd been wanting to leave my second job (retail) for some time but didn't feel the timing was right. Quit the week I found out and increased my hours at my main job so financially we are stable.  I had really bad morning sickness for 10 weeks, I took a few days sick off work here and there when it was particularly bad but otherwise I had to suck it up and deal with it.  Even if we were financially able to live off one income I don't think I would've quit.

I had to quit. I was only 8 weeks but I would go to the bathroom every 10 minutes and sit on the floor crying because I couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes without everything going black. I was just a food runner but the smell of the food made me sick. Then when I would be carrying a bunch of hot plates and fills cups, the room would start spinning so I had no choice but to quit. Plus, the girls I worked with were absolutely horrible to me

I got laid off after telling them I was pregnant. Oh well cuz another company bought our company. So ever eventually got laid off. I'm a stay at home mommy And I wouldn't change it for the world.

Nope. I'll work until I'm not medically able to (I'm in vet school and once a vet I'd have a number of restrictions due to risks of working with large aniamls, zoonotic diseases and other chemicals that were exposed to being risky for a baby). I'd die of boredome at home. I've always worked/been in school full time. I get bored over holidays that are longer than 2/3 weeks. I'd rather take my year of maternity leave when the baby is born instead so i can stay busy with my baby.

In the past my previous employers accommodated my needs to sit or constant breaks ... now I work because I am bored at home so if I was pregnant and constantly nauseous and exhausted I would more than likely quit and stay home maybe volunteer somewhere once a week though

I'm saying yes but only because I'm able to and my husband would want me to. Other than that, unless you medically can't, I wouldn't.

Im a 500+ employee business owner, can't quit even if i wanted. 
Been working from home for the last 8 months since our daughter was born. But it's still lots and lots of work
