C-SECTION SCHEDULED

This is my second pregnancy and with the first I had to get a c-section because he was to big.... Who else has had or is scheduled for their second c-section? Is it normal/safe for doctor to give you your due date but schedule you a week early to have the baby? Nervous and Scared all over again for this surgery! Baby is due on September 17 but wants to schedule a week early to have.... Tips or advice!?!?
