It wasn't great but it wasn't the worst. Very uncomfortable is how I would put it. Like my worst intense period cramps for a few minutes then mild cramping for the rest of the day. Worth it for what the tests show. It took extra dye to find my left ovary/follow my left tube as it likes to hang out in the middle of nowhere.

Deep breathes and you'll get through it. That's what I tell myself.

Mine was rough. I took like a gazillion Motrin ahead of time. I almost passed out on the table. I started getting clammy and sweaty and gray. They wouldn't let me get up and the doctor stayed with me for a long time rubbing my ankles until it was safe for me to move. It took a about a week for my body to feel right again.

Just had mine done a few min ago. Took about 20 min start to finish and was painless. I was a nervous wreck all morning for no reason. Wound up telling myself that any pain or discomfort is worth it for the baby, plus it's nothing compared to labor and delivery. It's great because your nurse/doctor will tell you right then your results. Good luck! You'll be fine!!

I had one as well, and it sooo painful!! I was almost in tears. Everyones body is diffrent tho so it may not be so painful for you. Just take some pain meds a hour or so before you go. Good luck!!

I had one last month. My tubes were clear and it was quick an easy. It was verrrrry uncomfortable while it was happening but unlike a lot of others I didn't have any cramping or discomfort after.

Mine was, at most, uncomfortable. And it was very quick. I also took some extra strength Tylenol about an hour before the procedure.
