Since I moved from NYC to WA so much is different. For my son every visit to the OBGYN office we had an ultrasound done. I seriously have like a box full of sonograms of my son. As well as I feel as though the sonogram techs that did the more advance stuff like anatomy scans and so on were so much more kinder. When I went to do my scan for baby #2 they made a big deal that my mother, husband and one year old would be in the room that was plently big. Not only that I specifically asked when I called to make the appointment if it was okay and they said yes. Yet when the tech saw us she had this attitude since I wouldn't budge on them being in the room. Now for this pregnancy I've had maybe all of 3 scans. I won't have another again til I am 36 weeks to see baby's position. I have no idea how much the baby weighs or anything which I'm guessing I won't til birth. Also the anatomy scan was when we found out the sex. She didn't even tell us it til we asked she told us the sex and that's it. She didn't show us the baby's private there was no picture that said "its a ..." Nothing. I asked my OB if I could get another untrasound to confirm it and she said they don't do another til 36 weeks. Don't get me wrong my OBGYN is great but different states do so much differently. As delivery is getting close I'm wondering if she can do as well as my other OB did if I end up needing another csection. Which is kinda giving me anxiety now.
