Back pain

I know back pain is common throughout pregnancy but earlier this evening, I felt like I was being struck by lightning in my back, especially while I was driving home. I'm still having the same pain. I almost had to pull over a couple times Cuz it was so bad.

Should I start timing the pains?

Am I being paranoid or is this the start of early labor?

I'm 38+4.
