Has anyone had a blood test to tell the gender of their baby? If so, were the results  accurate?

The doctor ones are 99.9% accurate. The ones you do yourself are not accurate

I've had the blood tests drawn for each pregnancy. Although, the reason for the blood test is to check for chromosome abnormalities. The gender is just a nice bonus 🙂 both the genetic portion and the gender portion of the test were accurate for each pregnancy.

The NIPT for trisomy's and other chromosomal defects that also tests for the sex of baby are 99.7% accurate.
The other ones you do yourself and send in for a result are complete hogwash

I used counsyl! At 11weeks they said I'm having a girl! It was accurate for me

My SIL had her dr's office tell her the gender after the blood test for the genetic defects/chromosome abnormalities and then they did the ultrasound to confirm what the blood test said at like 13 weeks. They were accurate for both of her babies! I think the home test one will be very inaccurate! This is my first baby and my dr doesn't do them, so I'm sorry I don't have any first hand experiences to share 😕

I used sneak peek but had my blood drawn at a clinic by a nurse and my results were accurate.

I did the Panorama.  It's 99% accurate. It's a DNA test where they can separate the baby's DNA from yours through your blood.  It also checks for abnormalities. I honestly don't see how it could fail. I think the only reason they don't say 100% is to have some legal wiggle room.
