How to decide on a date?

Did you randomly pick a date for your wedding or does it have significance? :) tell me down below :)

Our wedding date is going to be our 3 year anniversary. I cannot be anymore excited. Plus why make him forget another date. It's simple and he will remember.

It's fate kind of, when my SO first visited from France he left on Sep 28. When he was here I ended up in the hospital on Oct 29. Our anniversary is Aug 28 and our son was born on Oct 28. We figured 28 was our date but we needed to pick a month and we wanted a month when my family would be able to travel so sometime in summer hence July 28.

We started dating June 21st and it was really important to me to get married on the 21st of a month. If we could, we wanted to do it this June 21st, but we couldn't make it work and we didn't want to wait a whole year more, so we decided on August 21st

Our date was semi random we wanted it in the summer but away from holidays and birthdays....I kinda picked it and he went along with it lol but when I explained to him how and why I chose he was 100% on board

I don't have a SO. But I know that if I were to get married I would want a mid July wedding. The reason being that the weather is very unreliable here and I really would like a wedding without snow 😁 also I want an outdoor reception to hold a lot of people legally. With my families size that would be important.

Plan around your period if you're on birth control. We also planned around the weather and the holidays, etc. you don't want to do it aroun graduations or other ceremonies where people will not be able to attend your wedding. Also, choose something catchy...a date you will remember. Mine is 5.15.15!
