My SO and I talking marriage and when the wedding should be...and his SIL had to put in her two cents telling me you guys live in a fantasy world, planning a wedding in a year is ridiculous, and I know nothing because I've never planned a wedding before, oh and she told me that I just need to get use to the idea now that it's not your guys wedding but it's theirs (referring to the mothers) ...I was like um no! It is our wedding and the moms will be involved but it is. NOT THEIR WEDDING SO I WILL NOT GET USE TO IT ...and she's  right on not having planned a wedding  but I've helped out at weddings, I was in 3, been to a lot more and my SO and I know what we do and don't want...it's like I'm sorry that my family doesn't have $35,000 (even though you only spent $15,000 on the wedding) to dish out for a wedding...but if I had my way we'd be either eloping or just a very small ceremony of 30 people...
