implanon- Weight gain

So the last week of February I had the implanon inserted. So March was my first actual full month on it.  Since then I've went from 125 to 136. I have never weighed more than 128. This 11 pound gain made such a difference in the way any of my stuff fits. I gained 4 pounds just in the past two weeks. I've never had a huge problem with weight gain and go to the gym 3 days a week so finally I got it removed yesterday. Has anyone else had the same problem? If you did, were u able to lose the weight?
