how many bottle should a baby have when on solids?
My son is 5 months at the end of the month. He's now on solids. In the morning he has his first 7oz bottle around 7am. Around 9am he has porridge. 3/4 hours later around 12/1 he has dinner (veggie purée etc) and fruit purée for desert. Then around 4/5 he has his evening meal and desert. Then he has his bottle around 8/9 before going to sleep for the whole night. I thought he wasn't having enough food for his age even though he seemed fine so starting yesterday I have given him another 7oz bottle after his dinner but before his evening meal. I still think he's not getting enough although he seems happy enough. I think I'm doing it all wrong. How many bottles should a baby have when on solids? Should I just offer him milk whenever he cries in between his meals? I'm going to see my health visitor to get him weighed and go ask her these questions but that won't be until next week. Anyone have any advise?
