first time being pregnant

I just found out that I'm pregnant and about 7 weeks along. However yesterday and today, I have spotting dark brownish. I'm just worried because I haven't experienced it until now, and I haven't had any cramps or etc to make me really worry. I read that it is normal, so have any ladies experienced this as well?
