At how many weeks did you have your shower? Or how many weeks would you have preferred to have had your shower?

Why did you choose to have your shower at the time you did? After doing it would you have preferred to do it at a different time? Why? I'm asking because I want to do my shower in early August. I think it would be better for me because my due date is January 2 and I want to make sure I avoid all holidays so I don't out anyone out. But at that time I'll only be 18 weeks. Is this to early?

It's entirely up to you when you have your shower, I think you're being very considerate of others and their family time by having it early 😊

I was 36 weeks. I choose 36 weeks because I wanted to be obviously pregnant so people can take pictures with me and my bump and overall just feel super pregnant

I had mine at 30 weeks (currently 33 weeks) and I felt like it was soon too, mostly just because of other ppl commenting on how early it was:/  but my due dates the end of july and its HOT here. I'm already hot and uncomfortable, I definitely didnt wanna have my shower in the middle of summer when its miserable outside. Also, that middle-ish stage of pregnancy seemed so great, felt good, had some energy back. But towards the end it feels exhausting and its uncomfortable and you may not wanna do it at all. I kinda wish I Would've done it earlier too because I hated waiting to see what I'd get. I wanted to be prepared and waiting till the end to see if I had everything I needed stunk:/ I wouldn't worry about it being too early at 18 weeks. Pregnancy is already stressful and difficult, whatever you can do to ease that, go for it!❤

Mine is planned for when I'll be 33 weeks along. The only reason why I chose then is because it'll give me enough time before my due date in October to go buy the things that I need. 
I don't see a problem with having one at 18 weeks, other than you might not know the gender in time to let people know if you want gender specific items

Not too early. It's up to you! You might not know the baby's gender by that time but if you're okay with that then go for it :)

Mine was at 28, which I'm glad cause I went into preterm labor at 32 and was miserable until 37 when I delivered.

I personally feel like 18 weeks is a little early but that's just me and it's your personal choice. I'll be 35 almost 36 weeks at the time of my shower and I feel like it's a little late because I'll have to scramble to set everything up in time and get the rest of the stuff we need. But, my mom planned it not me lol
