One of the main concerns is that you are more susceptible to infection. Just make sure you follow after care instructions to a tee. Also make sure your shop is spotless and everything is properly sanitized and there's a new sterilized needle.

No wait as long as the shop is %100 up to code. I would pump and dump the first round of mil just in case, but tattoo ink shouldn't penetrate into the actual blood stream, or body fat if done correctly (aka don't let some guy do it out of his house and grind into your skin), so I don't see how it could harm baby. My sil had a tattoo done at a few months and it never affected her breastfeeding.

I feel as long as you go to a good shop and have them open the needles infront of you it really shouldn't be an issue.

I got my babies name tattooed when he was a month old. I don't breastfeed though. I've never heard of having to wait to get a tattoo
