So I have a low placenta my Obgyn told me today! She isn't worried and thinks it will move up further along my pregnancy if not I will have to have a c-section! Has this happened to anyone with a low placenta it not moving up before your due date?

It's called placenta previa! I got diagnosed at 13 weeks and I found out at my anatomy scan that it moved and I'm clear for a vaginal delivery 😊

Same thing happened to me at 15 weeks... Now I have an anterior placenta (placenta in the front) however i'm cleared for vaginal delivery. 9 weeks and a few days left.

My low lying placenta moved up. They explained it like this.

Imagine you blow up a balloon a little bit and you placed a dot near the hole. And then you blew it in more and more until it was close to popping. That mark you placed there with one blow is now probably further up and away from the hole.

Same with your placenta.

I had s low placenta and it moved up by 20 weeks

My placenta was covering my cervix which my doctor told me the same. . by my next check up it moved into place which is normal . . but after 25weeks if its there then maybe they'll put you on bed rest cause it can be dangerous to you and the baby nd also nothin can go in or out the uterus

It's rare that it wouldn't move. Your medical provider isn't worried so you shouldn't be worried.
