Which is the best birth control?

I have recently turned 16, and me and my boyfriend have been having protected sex (him wearing a condom) but I am wanting to to use birth control as well as because as we all know condoms aren't 100% effective, so to be sure I want to have another contraception. What would you say is the best one for me to have?

I adored the freedom and trustworthiness of bc pills.  Unfortunately I can't take them anymore because it caused a blood clot that changed my life forever.  Please ask for some blood tests before you go on anything hormonal to be sure you don't have any genetic clotting disorders.  Otherwise, I recommend the pill!!  Being able to go at it anytime (and raw!!) with no worries was a great time!

Abstinence is the only guaranteed way to not get pregnant. But using both condoms and bc will get you close (though I've seen that fail too)

I use the bc Patch. I really love it. We still use condoms just for extra protection. I had a few side effects lasted only a few days other than that it's been smooth sailing for me.

I'm on implant, but I did enjoy depo a lot. People freak out cause it can make you "infertile" but you're only infertile for a year or more while getting off it.

I personally have a hormonal iud but that doesn't work for everybody.💖
