Quick rant: I am seriously annoyed with the in laws. This Father's Day will be the first time our little family gets to celebrate as a family of 3 and was hoping to make DH feel special for being a first time Dad. But looks like that won't be happening because the in laws want us to bring baby and go visit them for a couple weeks. DH doesn't want his parents to feel bad by not going to visit. I know everyone's excited, they've already seen baby...can't we have some family time first???!!! I literally just had this baby a week ago. I need some breathing space. Goodness DH says I'm too moody. 😑😣😤 DH and I had a convo about this. I said to him it's not that I don't want to visit his parents but I honestly do not feel good traveling city to city with a 2 week old. I don't feel safe. I don't want the in laws to think I'm selfish for not letting them see baby. Safety is everything to me.
