I know what it does I was just wondering why IN the water? We have well water which has whatever natural amount of fluoride in it but was wondering if it was necessary to buy any special kind? And any other fluoride product says do not swallow? Idk I guess the concept confuses me but I'll be doing research, was just wondering what others knew of it 😊
I wouldn't but that's just my opinion. We drink spring water and don't use fluoride toothpaste... but yes we cook, bathe and wash our dishes with tap water... I just try to minimize it and I will for my daughter too. I think it also depends on your diet... if you eat a bunch of crap and sugar then probably a good idea to atleast brush with fluoride toothpaste (the only safety studies were done on topical use not consumption)
