How long did you wait to tell your families that you were expecting???

13 weeks because last time we miscarried... So we wanted to wait this time..

We told my family as soon as we had our first appointment, but we waited to tell my in-laws only because we wanted to tell them in person.

We had just found out and told both families at 5 weeks. My husband's mom and sister were in town for Thanksgiving so we wanted to tell them in person.

Told my mom who lives with I right away because she likes to do things to stress me out. I was hoping she would lay off of me if she one I was pregnant.. I as me my husband not to tell anyone until the 2nd trimester.  He told his mom around 8 weeks. He couldn't hold it in anymore

My mom and grandma (my dad would have been told right away too if he was alive) knew pretty early on, but we didn't tell anyone else until after the first trimester.

We told at 7 and 9 weeks. Next time I'm waiting until after the first trimester because my baby didn't make it. It was the worst feeling.

For my first I told my family right away I was 18 and still living with my dad and step mom so I thought out of respect I'd tell them we told his family right before the first appt at almost 9 weeks but it ended in a miscarriage. For our second I'm 20 now and live on my own with my bf I told my family right away so they could help me manage my stress and we told his family at 12 weeks (: and in the same day I made it public and I am now 23 weeks 2 days. When you feel ready to tell is when you should, not when others feel you should!
