Hospital freebies?

What does the hospital allow you to take/send you home with, after delivery?

Our hospital provided everything and we were told that if we don't take all leftovers home, they will be discarded.
We took home: about 30 mesh underwear, a big box of the huge pads, the spray bottle they give u, a numbing spray, a box of witch hazel pads, a whole case of Similac sensitive tiny bottles  (unopened), about 10 saddles, about 50 diapers. Along with that,  they also gave me about 20 bucks worth of snaks from the vending machines. 
I love our hospital and all the nurses. We have them a basket of goodies when we left.  6 nurses, and my obgyn.

My hospital sucked! We didn't get anything except for the 2 baby blankets I snuck into our bags before leaving lol. 
Even diapers weren't accessible to parents, we had to ask for them...which I didn't since I brought my own. 
We were offered nothing at all!

My hospital let me have those huge pads, mesh undies, witch hazel pads, numbing spray, spray bottle, diapers, blankies, onesies and little hats, an inflatable doughnut to sit on, and I think that's about it.

The hospital I delivered my first in allowed us to keep everything in my sons area at the NICU. He had those 2oz Enfamil bottles, diapers (wipes i can't remember getting) the side snap shirts and even the bucket they washed him in his swaddle blankets and I was given anything extra I wanted for myself like the little pad you sit on  when you have no undies, an extra spray bottle 😍 the numbing spray, ice pack pad and the hot compression packs for my breast...

I wouldn't call them freebies depending on your insurance because they bill you for all of that.
