8w and going crazy

I am only two days away from being 9 weeks and still Haven't been to the doctor. My husband and I have an appointment next Thursday but I want an ultrasound now and make sure everything is going ok! It's killing me, we had a miscarriage last November so we really want to know that this one is going to result in a baby!
