My sweet mother in law aways sends us something for every holiday and our anniversary. She always spends a large amount of money, which I feel so guilty about. Her taste is very very different from our's. We appreciate the thought, but every gift just sits in our closet because we'll never use it.

My husband wants to tell her because he feels it's a waste of money, but I think it's going ro really offend her.

Any advice on how to handle this?
