What's more important?

I know you can do both.. but if it came down to it Which one would you pick?

Nothing more important then Family but my career supports my family. So not that I choose career over them it's my families means of putting a roof over their head and clothes on their back and food in their bellies. My husband is a barber and he has days where he is so busy and makes good money but it isn't consistent enough to raise a family.

I have a family but I put my career first because without that I can't take care of my family.

I'm only pushing a career to support and provide a good example for my children.

I understand why there would be mixed feelings over this because "without a career how can you provide for a family?" But truth is family will always be by you, always love you, always support you, and know you the best out of everyone. A boss may like you but they can also fire you any day without a reason. There is no true relationship with a career, even if it's fulfilling a dream.

To me, my family is everything. I blew my career off with no problem. I didn't even get it started. I got a degree in early childhood education. I won't use it in a career sense, but I'll enjoy homeschooling my children.

My husband and kids are more important than my career. I am an accountant and chose jobs that do not require overtime or weekends and allow me to go to my kids' sporting and school events. I choose a path that I get awesome benefits and a pension, but make about 15k less a year.
