I have my foot/ankle done which I love because it's not noticibke to most people even when I'm barefoot do if for whatever reason I hate it later in life it's in an easily hideable and unnoticible spot but I can still see it and think it looks cute especially in certain pairs of shoes

Depends if you want it on show a lot or you like to have it covered, poking out a bit etc. I have one on my ribs and it's the start of a side piece. I like that I can cover it when I'm clothed but have it out when I'm wearing a bikini or lingerie.
