My mom and sister called me weak for crying over a guy and my sister called me weak for making the choice to have sex at 17 soooooo as of right now, the word weak ticks me off and I need your guys' thoughts

If anything you're a strong empowered female! What's so wrong with crying? I feel like it's the other way around. People that are afraid to show their emotions are weak. That really sucks that someone would tell you that. Stay strong and cry all you want, that's what I do. 😘✊

Suppressing yourself backfires and is really unhealthy. Healthy emotions are a strength not a weakness. Vulnerability is the greatest sign of courage.

Sometimes you just need to cry and there's nothing wrong with that, I used to think crying was weak, but it helps release the negative emotions and feel happy again...have you seen inside out when you finally realizes that sometimes you need to feel sadness in order to move on
