Baby Monitors: Movement Sensor Or No?

Question

I read a really great review for the Angelcare monitor with the sensor a few months ago, and I was totally sold on it since I'm a FTM. However, now I'm wondering if it's worth the high cost. We live in a small house and I work from home, so I'm considering the Summer Infant monitor now.

Does anyone have any opinions on having that movement sensor? Is it REALLY worth it?

I also have the Summer Infant one.  I have a small house and am a SAHM, so I almost never need to use it.  We didn't feel comfortable with monitors that had cellphone apps due to security concerns, as well as the price.
 
I also have a small house and the first few months my son slept in his rock n play in whatever room I was in.  As he is getting older I am beginning a night time routine and need the monitor.  The battery runs low in the monitor, but if you charge every day you will be fine.  I LOVE the sound indicator as well.
 
It works well for me as buying an expensive monitor would have been a waste as I hardly ever use it.

I had both! Still have my Angelcare and love it! Love the fact to be able to watch my baby on my phone when I am not home! I use it all the time! Never used the movement pad even though I had it but it was because we co slept.
I had summer infant ( older version then you posted ) and didn't like it.
Now I also have Levana Shiloh with two cameras cause I'm having another baby and love that one too. Tells me what the temperature is and love the LCD display with touch screen
