How did you feel right before spontaneous labor started?

For those of you who went into labor spontaneously (esp with your first borns), how did you feel during the days, hours and minutes leading up to the moment labor started? Were there signs or was it out of the blue? How did your labor come on: rapidly or was it a gradual build of contractions?

I felt normal but for a few weeks before I had this need to vacuum my car bc I wanted it cleaned out before we put the car seat base in (which wasn't installed when he was born 3 weeks early) but car did get vaccummed also I kept thinking I need to get this bag done and ready for the three if us which also wasn't done but was started. My water broke at around midnight when I was 36+5 weeks and he's my first. Now thinking back I'm pretty sure that was my nesting and body telling me to get ready.

All 5 babies there was no lead up. Just got contractions. They were equal amounts of time apart. They lasted 60 to 90 seconds. They got closer together and stronger

I felt tired (as usual), went for a nap (as usual) and woke up 2 hours later with a horrible pain. Soon enough I realized it was the real deal. I had been in early labour for a month prior to her being born at 40w6d. Lost my mucus plug slowly for 3 weeks. I thought I had lost it completely at 39 weeks because it was so much but it just kept on coming. I had no idea I was about to go into labour, I though I was broken and my body only did early labour as it kept stopping. 😂

First-water broke at 39 weeks and 5 days and went in and got induced due to GBS and lack of contractions

Second- I felt great! Wasn't uncomfortable or moody and didn't have an appetite. Ditched work early bc i felt great so figured I'd go home
And finish getting house ready and go do some shopping. After hours of shopping contractions started and got strong fast so went home took a bath didn't ease them so packed hospital bag and went to hospital.

Third- I woke up to pms cramping. Within a hour was having contractions but they weren't strong or painful enough (they started at 7am). I timed them. Weren't consistent enough. This went on all day. I was so frustrated as they would get close together then get farther apart. So I thought great let's just b uncomfortable for no reason. Went out to dinner. At 9:30 pm they hit hard and became consistent and close together fast. Told husband at 10;30 I needed to go to hospital and we went in. Hour later baby was born.

I had my first three months ago and the day I went into labour I woke up feeling very slightly crampy, but that stopped the moment I got out of bed to start the day. I felt somewhat bored and restless the whole day, but that might have more to do with the fact I'd been home on maternity leave for a few weeks now lol. Then that afternoon at 3.30 I got up off the couch to go to the toilet and felt a big POP. Fluid started gushing from me and didn't stop even after I'd been to the toilet to pee, so it was definitely my waters that had popped. Contractions started pretty much instantly. Had a major emotional breakdown the morning of 'labor' day. I had irregular contractions the day before that but they tapered off, then came again shortly after I had stopped crying. I paid them no mind until the early evening, they started to hurt but still had no distinct pattern. Then nothing at all for a few hours... then bam, contractions every 5 minutes. Baby boy was born 2.5 hours later. :)

My water broke in the middle of the night at 37 weeks when I got up to use the bathroom. No indicators or contractions prior. Spent the next 20 hours at the hospital to get dialated to 10 centimeters.
