My July 24th baby came yesterday June 16th @1650!

My beautiful daughter was born yesterday 5 weeks early! Started to have contractions that woke me around 0330, my water broke in the bathroom, and the hubby and I just knew she was coming! Got to L&D, my mucus plug came out, I then was admitted not too long after and an IV was given (only took one stick!) Super excited about that! I was having a cesarean delivery already that was scheduled for July 17th, so that's what took place for this delivery day. Contractions stayed between 3-4min apart until we got into the OR. I was given one round of a steroid shot, along with 2 rounds of penicillin to prevent any form of infection. I had to wait 6 hours for the steroid shot to start doing its job. By 1600 we were headed to the OR! I had tons of fluid (around 25cm) in which got allll over one of the Docs scrubs as she said "I feel like I just got baptized!"🤣 They also found endometriosis all in my uterus and being that this was my 3rd cesarean, it didn't surprise me. My husband and I chose to do a clear drape during delivery so we could see her after and it was amazing!! I'm so happy and extremely blessed for this little girl!!! Weighing 6lbs 1oz and 17.35in long, no assisted breathing, but in NICU for just a little due to being a bit tired and not latching 100% right after being born. She did however, drink 10ml of breast milk at 0200! I'm super sore especially when they push on my abdomen to check on bleeding, but other than that, mommy & baby are great!!!💕
