I'm sick of choosing baby boys name and constant arguing with everyone over it! What would you do?

My husband and I always planned to name our girl Skyler however when we found out it's a baby boy I did research and gladly found out it's unisex name and still wanted to call our boy Skyler.
I think it's gentle and heaven like name.

Everyone... I mean my husband is begging me not to call him that and to leave it when we have baby girl. He likes the name after the millionaire , it's a Swedish name : FREDRIK. Freddy for short .I like it too but not loving it as Skyler it's a very masculine name whereas Skyler is this gentle name.
My mom, my friends husband everyone is against Skyler.

Is it me not being able to let go of the name or should I go with my heart or is it just the damn hormones?!

Our baby boy is here in 2,5 months so really need advice from people here.

You and your husband are not agreeing on it. So you need to come up with a different name that you both agree on. Everyone else opinion does not matter.

Regardless of what others think, I think you and your husband need to agree on a name. You shouldn't be able to railroad over him and pick a name he doesn't like, any more than he should be able to. Maybe keep Skyler on the backburner and go back to the drawing board.

I personally would refrain from telling anyone the name until the baby is born!! Someone will always have an opinion and it's damn hard coming up with a name in the first place. Once you and your hubby decide on a name keep it to yourselves. This is baby #2 and we just tell people we haven't picked a name yet even though I've had one since she was conceived!

Our baby isn't due until January and my husband is hell bent it's a boy. We spent two years preparing kids names so we wouldn't have to fight over it. Well the boy name took a little while because I don't like a lot of male names. I had no say in the middle name and so trying to find a first name that went with it became a headache. If our bun turns out to be a girl I see it taking a very long time because he wants some of the most off the wall names ever or ones I can't stand. But we haven't said a thing to anyone on a name or let alone the fact I'm pregnant because I don't want to deal with the B.s. that comes with it.

I really like the gentleness of skyler. I personally like the name Fredrick better (actually I was thinking of naming my son Friedrick after his great grandfathers on both sides) but you stick to what you like. Everyone hates my baby names too haha.

I was having the same disagreement with my boyfriend over the name skyler because to me when I picture skyler I pictured it being a girls name but he was so hell bent on it being a unisex name. We didn't use the name skyler as a first name but we are using it as a middle name and our baby is going to be a boy . I would say sleep on it , think over it and be a little open minded and come to some compromise between the two names or start looking for other name meanwhile.

If your husband doesn't like it, you should let it go. If you don't like his name ideas, then don't go with those either. It's super frustrating, but you will find another name that you both love. Trust me, I had to work with my ex to name my baby 😩 seemed impossible but we finally found something we both liked.

There are some names that I love but hubby doesn't like them so I had to let it go. It's important to find one that you can agree on and both love.  
I have heard of Skylar for a boy but never met one, I know several girls named that.
