Could be bacterial vaginitis (BV). Sperm makes smell worse and normally is notices more during and after sex but really anytime. It's a pretty common vaginal infection (not an STD). Treated with an antibiotic and the smell disappears almost immediately. Research it and see if it sounds like your situation!
