Pumping taking longer?

I used to get anywhere between 6-10 Oz out after just 15 minutes. Now it's taking me almost an hour to get half that. Can anyone tell me why?

You're probably adjusting! I had a HUGE oversupply in weeks 2-4. My freezer is stocked because of it.

That's a huge oversupply. Are you exclusively pumping? 1/2 to 3 ounces total per pumping session is considered normal. I wouldn't stress about it.

How old is baby? It could be your let down adjusting.

I get 8 oz a pumping session at work, which is how much my son takes in a bottle , so it's the perfect amount for me... so that would not be an over supply for me. My son is also 8.5 months old and eats less often than a new born. Depending on your fluid intake or if your baby is going through a growth spurt your body will adjust to how much they need depending on how much he feeds.

I think your answer you are looking for also depends on how old your baby is.
