I was on tri-phasic birth control for about 10 years. When I went off because my husband and I were trying to get pregnant my period never returned on it's own. Fast forward almost a year and a pcos diagnosis later I have been on metforman for 4ish months and take provera ever 35 days to start my period but I can't seem to start it on my own so I want to go on birth control for 2 months to try and get my body back in a normal cycle the only problem I have is the doctor called in a mono-phasic birth control. Is the mono what is best for what I'm trying to accomplish or should I ask for the tri because that is why I have always taken ????? Any thoughts are welcome, please respond
