Hey guys! Since I've never been in a romantic relationship, I've always wondered how people knew they loved someone.

So, how did you know you were in love with your SO?

Is there a difference between the feeling of being in love and knowing someone is THE one?

Answer

When you find the person you want to soend the rest of your life with, you'll know. You can make each other laugh with the littlest things, you find yourself constantly thinking of them and wanting to make sure they're okay, you'll be able to talk with them about absolutely anything in the world, and you'll definitely be comfortable with them in your worst states.
When my fiancée and I met, we both knew straight away. We just clicked and connected so perfectly.

For me I just knew. It took me a while to figure out what I was feeling was love because it felt so different from what I'd felt before for my ex and high school 'boyfriends'. It hit me slowly though, I didn't just know all at once if that makes sense. He makes me smile like an idiot even when we're arguing (we don't fight just have discussions/disagreements), I love everything about him even the things that drive me crazy and I don't particularly like about him I love. We have a lot of trust, respect and commitment between us as well. It's not exactly a feeling you can describe- it's just something that you know with every cell in your body.
