when did you share the news on social media?

Hi! I know this is very personal and some people dont even ever share the news on social media. But for those who do, when did you (or do you plan to) share?

I am at 10-11 weeks and already had my first appointment/ultrasound and scan. Baby is healthy, we saw & heard the heartbeat etc.

I feel ready to share but at the same time I'm scared! Where you scared too? Should I wait? Until when? What did you do!?

I'm 12 weeks today and told my father yesterday for Father's Day. Other than that only my 3 best friends know. When you go through a loss previously, it makes you think different. Some people announce right after they peed on the stick and had successful pregnancies and some waited and didn't have a successful pregnancy. I just believe, whenever you're ready. My husband and I don't plan on announcing it. Just letting friends and family know once we find out the gender in a couple weeks. I'm just not a fan of announcing personal things just because not everyone out there wishes you well and I don't want anyone's negative energy! That's just me personally.

We waited until after our nuchal translucency/genetic testing results came back before we announced. That ended up being around 13 weeks. xo

My first we announced once we heard the heart beat at almost 7 weeks. With many #2 we found out Dec 16 and announce Christmas day. We didn't have a scan and didn't even meet our OBGYN yet. We feel that a baby in itself is a joy to share. Anything can happen anytime along the lines nothing is certain so we celebrate life and no matter what will always celebrate that life. It is a personal decision and I totally get and respect waiting to announce for us it just wasn't what fit us.

I don't plan to share on social media until baby is born. I have told a few close girlfriends but am waiting to tell family and work people until I get my NIPT results back (around 12 weeks).

I'm 16 weeks and haven't shared yet, although my pregnancy is by no means secret. I've just been telling people in person. I think we're going to share on social media after our anatomy scan.

There is no right or wrong time to share! Honestly it's whenever you're comfortable.
