Does everyone break up during pregnancy?

I've noticed a trend recently. A lot of my friends and their guys have split up during her pregnancy. Normally is the guy saying it's too much or he's done for good. I've heard stories of my friends parents doing the same thing. Has this happened to any of you? Did y'all get back together eventually? Or are you in the middle of such right now & could use some hope, whether or not it was meant to be?

Since married and engaged couples have children every day, that's a solid no. Younger people and people who are in new relationships who get pregnant unexpectedly are certainly more likely to break up due to the difficulty and stress and responsibility, but even that's not a given. All I can say, is that people should try their best to only have planned pregnancies after they've discussed it with their partners and are on the same page, but things happen. Life doesn't always go how you think it will. But the good news is that sometimes that actually turns into a really great thing.

Me and mine had broken up in the beginning. My hormones were all over and it caused lots of tension. We're good now though.

Pregnancy can bring a lot of range of emotions for both people... some people think having a baby with a bf will make a relationship stronger not always the case... my husband and I went through a rough time during my second trimester because I was going through... but we took vows and we're good... it all depends on the individuals if they truly want the relationship with the person they're wit and is in it for longevity

No, not everyone breaks up during pregnancy. It's been a challenge for us but my husband was awesome during pregnancy, and even though it's taking him (us) some time to adjust to our new baby (5 months old now), he's an awesome father and husband!

With my first child we split once I told him I was pregnancy but we had a good friendship that continued.

With my second child we split but we still mess around lol. And we also still call eachother baby, he already has 5. But didn't expect to have another kid. Not quite sure why he thought his parts "didn't work".
