Hi y'all! I've been put on lexapro but my psychiatrist feels as if it may not be fitting because she believes I have bipolar depression versus depression alone. She started me out on lexapro to see how I'd react to it. I've been taking it for 2 weeks. I was told it would take 3-6 weeks to really kick in & that it may also cause deepening suicidal thoughts. I also remember her saying something about after you stop taking lexapro, you have pretty bad withdraw symptoms? I just want to hear some personal experiences with lexapro. Did it work for your depression/anxiety? What were you side effects? Withdraw symptoms? How long did it take till you/other people started seeing results? Thanks y'all!💕
