Shenanigans of choosing a pediatrician

Oh my goodness!! I had NO idea how confusing & complicated choosing a Dr for my child would be!! Find a Dr I like, they don't take our insurance. Find a Dr I like on our insurance & they won't allow alternate vaccine schedule. Find a Dr on our insurance who accepts delayed or no vaccination...only to be told they don't accept newborns born out of hospital!?! Seriously?? This is crazy. I am under full medical/prenatal care from a midwife & birthing center. I have had the BEST experience with them!! I just wish I knew months ago how complicated it would be to find a pediatrician on board with our views & beliefs. If only we had the option to pay out of pocket for the hollistic pediatrician...maybe next year!
