When can you ask for fertility meds?

When is it ok to ask your doctor for fertility meds? Like after how many months of trying do they consider giving it to you? I'm new at this.....

Whatever you do have your SO checked as well. They can easily be the problem too. If you can you should avoid them. If not make sure you are tested for hormone imbalance among other things. Good luck!

Iam 34 and we started meds after 8 months.

Depends on your age. My dr says if older than 30 but under 35- trying for 6 months is the cut off before meds due to increased risk
